2017 Chevrolet Silverado High Desert

The High Desert package is available on higher trim levels of the popular Chevy Silverado truck, and seems to incorporate design elements of the discontinued Avalanche. This picture shows the interior of a 2500HD Silverado, which is mostly similar.
Family Resemblance

Here we have the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado High Desert, which is a package that's available on LT, LTZ, and High Country trim levels. If you look deeper under its skin, you'll notice that the truck seems to implement various design cues of the Chevy Avalanche, which was produced from the 2002 model year to the 2013 model year. Features included with the High Desert package are a lockable and water resistant storage system, 20 or 22-inch rims (on LT and LTZ trims respectively), and GM's Magnetic Ride Control suspension on High Country models. Additionally, on LTZ and High Country trims a 6.2-liter V8 making 420 HP and 460 lb.-ft. of torque is available. This engine is paired to a new 8-speed automatic transmission.

I have to say, I like this package. My father has owned one of the second-generation Avalanches for years now, and its been a wonderful truck. This will likely prove no different, especially since it appears to pick up somewhat where the Avalanche left off.
